About Blue Mountains Wildlife Tour

Escape the hustle and bustle of Sydney for a day of natural beauty, wildlife encounters, and breathtaking scenery on our Blue Mountains Wildlife Tour. This full-day adventure takes you to the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Blue Mountains National Park, just 90 minutes from Sydney but a world away from city life. Your day begins with a comfortable coach pickup from your Sydney CBD hotel. As we leave the city behind, your expert guide will share fascinating information about the region's history, geology, and unique ecosystem. The Blue Mountains get their name from the distinctive blue haze created by eucalyptus oil droplets released from the vast forests of eucalyptus trees. Our first stop is at Featherdale Wildlife Park, where you'll have the opportunity to get up close with Australia's native animals. Hand-feed kangaroos and wallabies, see wombats, dingoes, and Tasmanian devils, and have your photo taken with a koala (optional extra). This interactive wildlife experience provides a chance to learn about Australia's unique fauna from knowledgeable wildlife keepers. Continuing into the Blue Mountains, we'll visit the spectacular Three Sisters rock formation at Echo Point, where your guide will explain the Aboriginal legends associated with this iconic landmark. Marvel at the panoramic views across the Jamison Valley, with its vast expanse of eucalyptus forest stretching to the horizon. After working up an appetite, enjoy a delicious lunch at a local mountain restaurant (included), featuring fresh seasonal produce and regional specialties. In the afternoon, we'll visit Scenic World, where you can experience the world's steepest railway as it descends into the ancient rainforest. Explore the valley floor on elevated boardwalks, then return via the scenic cableway with spectacular views of the Jamison Valley, Katoomba Falls, and Three Sisters. On our return journey to Sydney, we'll take a scenic route with a stop at a lookout point to witness the changing colors of the mountains as the sun begins to set. Arrive back in Sydney in the early evening with unforgettable memories of Australia's natural wonders. With your Sydney Super Pass, this full-day Blue Mountains Wildlife Tour is completely included (normally priced at $149), offering exceptional value for one of Sydney's most popular day trips.

Absolutely fantastic day trip! Using our Super Pass for this tour was incredible value. Our guide Mark was knowledgeable and entertaining. The wildlife park was a highlight - we got to feed kangaroos and see koalas up close. The Three Sisters and Scenic World were breathtaking. Lunch was delicious too. Perfect way to see the Blue Mountains if you only have a day. Highly recommend!

Great tour with amazing views. Our guide was very informative about the Aboriginal history and geology of the area. The wildlife park was excellent - much better than a zoo for seeing Australian animals. Scenic World was a bit crowded but still worth experiencing. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that we felt a bit rushed at some stops. Overall, excellent value with the Super Pass!
